Happy Birthday, Hubs!

It's my husband's 30th birthday today.  Yes, that officially means he's old.

No, I'm actually teasing, I don't think 30 is that big of a deal.  I turn 30 in just 2.5 weeks, so I should know.  Of course, mine is a bit of a bigger deal, because I turn 30 on the 30th, that's right, it's my Golden Birthday.

I'll accept presents or cash in lieu of presents.

Actually, all joking aside, I'm pretty super duper excited, if all goes according to plan, I should have a friend in town for my birthday, or soon enough after to still celebrate without it being weird.

But what I'm excited about this moment is this weekend, my mom is in town, so she's going to babysit so Cam and I can go on a big day-long birthday date!  Here's the plan:

1.  Drive to Fort Collins.

2.  Take a tour of the New Belgium Brewery.

3.  Watch a movie (I think the only thing out is Spiderman, but Cam doesn't really want to see it).

4.  Go to dinner at The Melting Pot.  That's actually his choice, he loves fondue.  Isn't that funny?

5.  Party like it's 1999.

For the two of you that were wondering, the move went fairly smoothly, I didn't crash the moving truck, though it was pretty touch and go there for a while, like 14 hours straight.  We also stopped in Denver to get a bed for Sammy, and mom and I spent an hour trying to push the very heavy, very long box in an already stuffed moving truck.  There was a little damage, mostly to our bodies.  Phew.

We now have everything unpacked, and are setting up the place.  I should have living room pictures to show in a day or two, when the paint on the rug dries.  

My house is so cute, it'll rock your world.

See, now you can't say that I never gave you anything to look forward to.
